Terms & Conditions
Version 2026-09-v2 · Learner terms
Legitimacy of information provided
You confirm that all personal details provided are accurate, complete and up to date. Providing false or misleading information may result in the cancellation of your course application or funding eligibility.
Advanced Learner Loan scheme
You confirm you understand the Advanced Learner Loan scheme, including how funding works, repayment obligations and eligibility criteria. Further details: gov.uk/advanced-learner-loan.
Enrolment, attendance and engagement
On enrolment you are expected to engage with your course, complete workbooks and assessments by agreed dates, and attend reviews and any practical observations. Sustained non-engagement may put your funding and place on the programme at risk; we will contact you before taking any action.
Withdrawal and cancellation
You may withdraw from the programme by notifying your assessor or your provider. A withdrawal will be recorded and your awarding-organisation registration updated. Funding and any fees are subject to the terms of the Advanced Learner Loan and the information given to you at enrolment.
Use of personal information & GDPR
Your information is used to process your application to your provider, deliver and quality-assure your course, and administer funding through the Advanced Learner Loan scheme. It is handled securely and in accordance with UK GDPR and data protection law, and shared with the awarding organisation and funding bodies only as required to deliver and certificate your qualification.
Your course is delivered under a partner college, which holds your registration with the awarding organisation and makes the statutory funding return (the ILR). Through a secure portal, staff at that college can see your contact details, your progress and attendance, the work you submit together with your assessor's decision and feedback, notes of contact about your course, and your enrolment application in full — including the personal and funding details you gave on it. Every time they open or download your records it is logged. Your welfare and safeguarding records, and any complaint you make, are not shared with them.
Code of conduct and academic integrity
All work you submit must be your own. Plagiarism, collusion or other malpractice may result in work being rejected and, in serious cases, removal from the programme. We expect respectful conduct towards staff and other learners across all platform communication.
Compliance with funding requirements
You acknowledge that the Advanced Learner Loan is subject to requirements set by the government and awarding bodies, and that it is your responsibility to adhere to these during the course.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of your course, please raise it with your assessor or contact us using the details below so we can put things right.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes are reflected by a new version number; the version you accepted at enrolment is recorded against your record.
