What’s in the platform

Digital workbooks
One answer box per question, saved as the learner types. Plain-English support on every question, teaching slides beside each learning outcome, and a Word download for anyone who would rather work offline and upload afterwards.
Marking and IQA
Assessors mark against each criterion and return work with feedback. A review queue surfaces what is waiting, and IQA sampling sits on the same records the assessor used.
Progress you can act on
Progress per unit and per question, not just units completed — and measured from each learner’s own starting point, against others who started at the same level.
Early warning
Learners who never started, stalled mid-unit, or hit a save failure are raised as alerts with the reason attached — so a problem is found by staff before it is reported by a learner.
Evidence on demand
A learner’s portfolio exports as a single pack. Where evidence is missing the pack says so in place, rather than quietly leaving the unit out.
Tamper-evident audit trail
Assessment decisions and record changes are written to a hash-chained audit log, so an altered or deleted entry can be detected rather than merely discouraged.
Your brand, your domain
Each provider gets its own portal — logo, colours and subdomain or custom domain. Learner records are isolated per provider at the database level, not by a filter in the application.
Accessible by default
Keyboard navigable, screen-reader labelled, and published against a real accessibility statement that names the gaps as well as the conformance.

Built for the question you get asked
Inspection asks how far a learner has come from where they started, and expects you to show it. Most systems can only show a completion percentage, which answers a different question.
Praxel records a starting point on arrival, tracks progress question by question, and compares each learner’s pace to others who started at the same level — with an honest “not enough data” where the cohort is too small to say anything meaningful.

What we don’t claim
We are not an established VLE with a decade of modules, and we don’t pretend to be. Praxel is narrow on purpose: it does delivery, assessment, IQA and evidence for regulated provision, and it does those without the configuration project the incumbents require.
